Something came on Snail please ID

    Looks like some sort of algae came on a snail from my CUC. Does this need to be removed/harmful? Placed in refuge? or leave it?

    I would remove the algae and place it in the fuge. If you have algae eating fish you may not need to worry about it.

    PM John Maloney of Reef Cleaners he should be able to identify it.

    it looks like pieces of gracillaria algae to me

    +1 I had this identified the other day in my tank on here :) It seems to be an ok algae and I think tangs will eat it.
