    Absolutely ok to leave it as is. You can tell whether it's an alveopora or a goniopora by counting the tentacles on each polyp (12 in alveopora and 24 in goniopora). Some basics on their care can be found here:

    looks to be a goniopora. ahh finally can put a name to it..thanks for the info..i`ll do my best to make it happy...
