I have always had a special love for Natve American Indians. My wife and I have been to about 4-5 Pow Wows here in the states. I thought I would share this with you; YouTube - Amazing Grace in Cherokee Walela

This was taken on the Navaho Reservation in Arizona. This mother was gracious enough to allow me to take a picture, (many Native Americans believe the camera will steal their soul and won't allow you to take a picture of them).

    The picture is of Geronimo

I admire the native American people as well. I have many Lakota friends. I travel to western SD to visit the grandfather of one friend. He lives on the Rosebud and will be 101 this summer and still sharp as a nail. I love listening to the stories he tells of life as a child at the turn of the 20th century and passed down stories from his father and grandfather.

    Yes, thank you.
Yes, such a rich heritage. It is a shame what happened to them all but they just went forward and expect nothing, I love that about them. As Geronimo said, when he finally gave himself up to the army; "Who knows why the great spirit has allowed this to happen, it is clear though that our time is finished and someone else's time has come."
