    I had a few mejanos, similar to aiptasia when I introduced some new live rock, I thought they were cool looking as well, but they can quickly take over a tank. I used a syringe filled with boiling water and zapped em that way, they were gone in 2 days and havent had any pop up since. using hot water seems like the better option, than using any chemical.

    I got 1 peppermint shrimp yesterday.... I came home from work and the anemone is gone! No trace of it. Do you think it moved or did the shrimp get it?

    Shrimp probably had a tasty lunch :) Just keep an eye out for it :p

    No, the only shrimp commonly available that eats aiptasia are peppermint shrimp. Or try some other common aiptasia remedies like kalk paste........

    It is best to get rid of them now when the tank is young IMO.
