something growing on LR

i have only been cycling my tank for a few days now and one of the rocks has what look like a feather duster. i have been trying to take a pic but the position it is in and size make it impossible to take a snap. it looks like a little mop with two white stripes going across it. and it goes in and out of the same spot. has any one ever had this in there tank. i will try posting some pics later im charging the battery.

 

Yep, feather dusters are very common hitchhikers. They're a good thing. I still have a few of the guys that originally came on my rocks.

 

Sounds like a harmless spionid worm. They are harmless and live in a tube (which may or may not be visible above the surface of the rock).

so i shouldn't worry then, thank god it's not apista anemone. i was about to torch it, but i will still keep an eye out you can never be to sure. thanks
