    well at the moment i have only kept fish with some live rock...
    decided to start over with this tank.
    this is the only thing thats nice and its been there over a month. Yeah.
    recently bought a light fixture... Actinics.
    i have no idea what it is. anyone?

    here is a time delay of the thing opening up. every frame was taken 1 second apart and the film plays 15 frames a second. so 15 seconds of the event every second beamed through the miracle of internet straight into your retina.

    thanks for the id. but i looked it up and it doesn't appear to be what i have.
    it has a hard bottom, like a stone coral so I didn't think it was an anemone. but it does eat, I have a video of that too, but it wasn't compressed. 100mb for 4 seconds compared to the one i posted which is only 2mb in divx5.1

    here are some photos from a better angle one is as closed as it gets and the there is totally open.
