    HI,
I saw a rather pink flat thing in my sponge it dosent have arms like a aptasia it just is pink and seems to be slowly growing.
The sponge was full of baby striped brittle stars too thats why I bought it for the stars it was only a few bucks.
the pink tissue is something new.

    close exam reveals two sponges

    HI,
I pulled it under the main light underwater of course sponges hate to be exposed to air, and its a second sponge next to the first is a very light pink sponge it even has similar openings and appearance as the first more like a ball sponge, I ve seen orange and yellow never a pink like this.
