Some of the zoas i got haven't been opening fully. last night i saw this orange worm with i think tentacles at the end in the zoas. I'm not sure if it was at the end only b/c it was curled up. I think it could be a spaghetti worm, hair worm or bristle worm. which is it and is it a problem?

It looks like a very harmless spaghetti worm :)

Definitely cirratulids, AKA hair worms and harmless. Flatworms do not have filamentous appendages or rounded bodies. Spagetti worms which belong in the family Terebellidae only have the appendages on the head end. Cirratulids like these have them along the body.

Thanks a lot. you seem to be very knowledgeable about this, does it have to do with your job? From pictures they really don't look like flat worms. I like having diversity in my tank so i prefer not to have to remove them.

Yup, I take care of the museum's worm collection & have studied them for many years. Inverts are my passion.
