    I have no clue how to even describe it. Its not bothering the coral... It just keeps getting bigger :lol: Any thoughts?

    That would be cool if it is... :| However I've never seen anything like it so Im at a loss.

    Sponge. The hole in front is a dead give away. Intake (or exit, I never can remember) for the water that it filters for nutrients.

    lol :| I kill a sponge back a few months ago, and magically am growing them out of the blue now? lol wtf.

    You can take a brush and gently brush it off if it is a bother to the mushroom or you dont like it there. If any trace is left it will grow back in the same spot, and the brushed off particles will land and grow elsewhere.
