something more quite then a little giant

    Im looking for a return pump that is alot more quite then my little giant pump but external can anyone suggest one?

    The Japanese IWAKI are relatively quiet, the noise of a skimmer drowns them out. The same can not be said for the American version...Otherwise Reeflo pumps are pretty quiet IME.

    okay thank you like cant hear the humming at all? My tank is in my living room and the little giant is soooo loud lol

    It depends, my friend mounted his to some particle board then put a layer of pink insulation foam underneath that to stop vibrations. Another solution is to put little plastic feest on the pump like they have for chair legs so they don't scratch your floor.
