Something on glass

    We are getting some type of hard, small, round type "things" that stick to the glass. Slowly build up over time, I notice them a lot when scraping algea (they are relatively hard to get off the glass). Sorry, I dont have any pics, they are just too small to capture and still remain in focus.
    Any ideas?:-/

    They are round and grayish white. Ca deposits make sense, it would seem to fit the bill. Is that normal?

    if they are round dots, various sizes, sounds like the start of coraline growing on the glass. They're a good sign everything is good.
