Now I have no pictures of this because it would've been impossible but we got home late and I turned on the moon lights to look around which I haven't done in awhile. I was looking around and thinking why is all this gunk floating around inside. Like 1,000's of little pieces of floaties. Well upon a closer look they were ALL ALIVE. They looked like minature baby mosquito larva so some kind of invert but did something spawn?
I'll look again tonight but it was cool to see 1,000's of these small creatures trying to move their little legs as the current swished them around. I'll have to look again tonight to see if it happens again.
I have 1 cleaner shrimp, 1 coral banded shrimp and 6 peppermints but I thought peppermints layed eggs (which I guess is possible).

If anyone has any idea it'd be fun to know :)

That's what happens when they molt. They simply outgrow their exoskeleton.

its probably not baby shrimp, it wouldnt be in the thousands, and chances are they would get eaten, probably some kind of pod... probably not harmful, good food for lots

i see a bunch of little pods in my tank, but for you to be able to see their legs and all, makes me curious, that it might be something else.
