    Something keeps happening in my tank where somewhere within the live rock, there keeps on squirting out like a sand, this settles on the rock there is quite a bit of it now, its starting to look like a beach, any ideas what it is squirting this stuff out, its as if the rock is pooing lol...

    Wow, that could be a great number of critters doing that. Such rock can and does contain a great many inverts that burrow through the rock or enlarge already made tunnels. Anything from worms, clams, shrimp, crabs and so on.

    There are a lot of different tube worms and things of the like that get in your tank from the live rock. Just a new bonus critter for you.

    About an hour after the lights go out get a flashlight with some red clear wrap, saran wrap type stuff. Put it over the lense on the flashlight. Look at whrere is coming from using this "red" light and you'll probably see you new inhabitant. If not try about and hour or two before the lihghts go on. The reason to use the red light is that the low spectrum light wont spook the night tmie critter as much.

    I had the same thing once, it turned out to be a stomatella shooting its spawn into the water!
    Damsel and Clown went nuts for it!

    i had a simular issue but turned otu to be the fact i was over dosing phyto and it was settling into the rocks, sometimes when the water current would change just the right way it'd blow out the bottom of the rocks
