    i went away for 2 days and when i got bakc my mandarin was dead alll of my corals were dead ( close to around 500$ worth) and hair algae was really stringy in weak and in remission ( the one good thign) no test kit cuz my dad didnt think we needed one so im asking u guys what possibly went wrong. im going to the fish store asap for testing my water

    That's a bummer! Could something have fallen in the water (like to much food) to polute it??

    nope i runa skimmer and it was going fine wheni got bakc and i was only gone for 2 days so no one was feeding them

    Need more information. Do you use an ato, heater etc.

    I would for sure check the heater... lost my whole tank a while back thanks to a back-up heater i i using broke...

    nope heater is fine i think the water is aroud 70

    is it always 70 or does it fluctuate...70 seems a little low and if its fluctuates to much that could be your problem, and the first thing I would check for would be ammonia...

    70 seems a little low for temp, but i dont know if that would kill everything.
