Well my crappy old 10g nano is starting to leak. Nothing major it's at the top of one of the seams so I can drain an inch or so from the tank and have temporary fix. I was going to be changing out the tank for a Mr. Aqua 17.4 in the next couple months but looks like it may bee sooner than that. I've never had a rimless tank, is there anything I should do different? I know on bigger tanks a foam pad is put underneath to help distribute the weight and level the tank. Is that necessary? If so what should I get and where do I find it? Any other helpful hints on a rimless would be greatly appreciated as well.

    TIA

Rimless tanks are very specific and my guess is that the majority of people don't have much knowledge about them.

I would suggest reposting with a title that describes what you need help with aka "Need Help-Rimless Tank Set-up Question". It may help in getting people who know something about them to respond.

Just an idea, the leaking tank could be resealed with some silicone, and I'm sure that would make for an excellent QT. just be sure to use the appropriate grade silicon..
