    i got some new zoas, for only 8 dollars which is a steal considering the outrageous prices at my lfs

    also i want you to note this is what the zoas look like with out actinics, as i dont have them in my tank only a 14k bulb

    its a bad pic i know, i should off cleaned off the front better.

    anyway updates, i had a my algae blooms are being extended abit because i didnt count on the fact the chaeto wouldnt grow under the halide 14k.

    right now chaeto is the only filtration on the tank.

    getting close to summer now, the tank was getting warmer then i wanted so i switched out my lighting for a t5 and some flourscent aquarium fixtures, yea not ideal i know. i need to save up and get a fixture i can run in the summer too. either a 70watt halide or a t5 fixture. but on the plus side since i switched my chaeto has tripled its growth rate. so know its sucking up the nutrients it couldnt use under the halide

    green star polyps, mushroom, zoas , frogspawn. not my sps or lps collection i wanted when i started since im low on money for frags now, and i need to by new lighting for it right now.
    i may add some green button frags from my dads tank
