I noticed this today. Looks like it might be going into the LR. I hope the picture is good enough for you guys. My best guess after a quick google search is a Spaghetti Worm. I don't know if its good or bad, but if its not, how do I remove or kill it?

I have noticed a second one not shown in the picture, but marked with an arrow where he is located. They don't appear to causing any harm. I have seen his tentacles touching the flower pot coral with no affect.

Spaghetti Worm are very good for your tank. But to answer your question that is not a Spaghetti Worm. I believe they are just harmless tentacles. The correct name for it I don’t know, maybe one of the other members may

Possibly vermetid snails. Spaghetti worms don't "use" a tube.

Do the "tentacles" kind of look like they're probing the groun around it?

From what ive seen so far I wouldn't say probing, but the tentacles that do touch the sand keep pulling it up on the rock. So maybe if he was closer to the sand he would be probing or sifting.

Thanks for the replies guys. At first I was concerned being so close to the flowerpot coral, but since ive seen it touching it and it not retracting im not so worried. My Goby and hermitt crab has even brushed up against the tentacles and nothing happened.
