    Im pretty sure I have a spaghetti worm in my tank.:confused:

    What affects is that gonna have on my tank?
    What do they even do?

    I do not think they do much... creepy but harmless

    They are harmless, just gross!

    They help filter out detritus and other stuff from the water column. They are very beneficial but can reach plague proportions, rare but it can happen.

    My ex girlfriend had a decent amount of these in her biocube. They never harmed anything and made a good dinner for her peppermint shrimp.

    I've got some tube snails that throw out these web lines that kinda look like that.

    I think they're really cool, I have one right now. I'm hoping more show up eventually.
    Like Tom said, beneficial. As long as that's what it is what it is then it's fine.

    i have lots of them, not plague proportions but still. no harful affects so far.
