I have a spare 20 gallon tank that i look at as soon as i walk in my house, so i wanna do something with it..i can make a sump out of it, but that would require me to drain my tank and drill it or make the diy pvc overflow hang on back one...i was thinking of making it a frag tank...or i could set up another tank..

i have sand, extra live rock, and 2x55 pc lights, and 2x39 t5s..so what should i do with it..

if i set it up as a tank, it has to have a super low bio load because i will not be buying a skimmer, i have hang on filters i can use and mod to whatever, all size ones as well, so filtration wont be a problem as long as i keep it low..and if i make a tank, i would just do like a shrimp and goby pair and maybe one other something but prolly not..just been thinking lately, i want it to be different as far as stocking..i also have tons of stuff from my 30 gallon i can transfer and make room..also if i made a tank i would do the rock wall and have it filled with zoas and rics and have a big toadstool as the centerpiece..

I would either do frogfish or a seagrass biotope for filefish. Perhaps not what you were looking for but frogs are the best (past frog owner) and the seagrass would be a change from reefing. With sparse rocks I have seen it done it looks amazing! You could mod a aquaclear hob into a fuge for it. Contact John Maloney for more info about the seagrasses. Id go with aptasia eating files. They are easy to sex and you could do a pair and some sargeant major damsels or something else.

frag tank for sure, what better way, all you need is some egg crate and plastic dowels for legs, dont even need sand!

Remote fuge or remote DSB, I like the zoa and Ric tank idea

ite what about making it an eel tank..take pvc and make the cave and everything and since all the rock i have is small i can break it up and glue it all on there and the whole rock wall..

is a 20 gallon to small for an eel for a couple years and ill build it a larger tank when time comes...my buddy has two large mated eels, not sure what kind in like a 40 cube tank i think..

whats the bio load of a small eel and have fast do they grow.

Idk how fast they grow but a 20g sounds small even for a small eel. Well atleast to me it does....
