Spare tank..what should i do

yeah i was thinking that too..the ones at the fish store are like 3"..i dont know anything about them, but i want to do something random with this tank..im about to do some researching..

any eel experts wanna chime in on the necessities of keeping one..requirement with tank size...im asked my friend and he said i could do it for a couple years, the one that has two in a 50 gallon cube, but his eels are like huge..he said as long as we build enough tunnels with pvc then it will be fine..he's very knowledgable, has many tanks, 300gal reef, 55 eel tank, and 200 gallon predator tank..anyone else with eel expertise is highly appreciated..

 

yeah mo that little bugger is really cool..how many could i keep..whats the budget with this dudes...im trying to keep this tank low budget since i have everything and if i did an eel then all i need is pvc, foam, and silicone..

what is a mantis tank..

 

you might be able to do a small Snowflake... (8" max) or a very small garden eel. (need DSB and min of 75 g when grown) and the snowflake should have a minimum or at least 55 when grown. IME they're jumpers also.

well you know what a mantis is, right? same supplies needed as the eel
, except they're not jumpers. they would either dwell in PVC or blast their own cave in some rock. not fish safe though. should be fine with corals.
