    whats are good star in the style of a choc chip star that is a good reef star? i dont like the blue, brittle or surpant stars. my lfs has a large choc chip star but calls it a japanese star. any one ever hear of that?

    Typically if the Star has spikes on it it is not reef safe. Like the Choc-chip

    The common reef safe stars are Lincia, serpent, Brittle, unfortunately the kinds you don't like :(
