    When adhering pvc piping for my filtration system should I use a specific kind of glue?
    My LFS guy fixed a leak & had to replace the bulkhead, he made the drain too long, so I was going to fix it myself.

    Use PVC cement. But remember, this has to set 24 hours before being put in the tank..we don't want out-gassing. Once it is dry and no more fumes are being put out, it is aquarium safe.

    Oateys regular clear pvc cement and clear primer. You probably really shouldn't use it right away on a system with livestock but I have with no ill effects I noticed.
