Sodier/Squirrelfish , namely smaller species
Tangs, namely smaller species
A couple of triggers
Large wrasse
etc

I would remove my smaller fish (Chalk bass, Cardinalfish) if I were to go with a list like this.

I've got a 225 fowlr in the works- so far I have a flame angel and an exquisite wrasse. Plan on adding a pair of blue jaw along with a blonde naso, hippo and an emperor angel. I'm undecided on yellow tangs or a sailfin tang. Also thinking of a tusk

 

are your fish coming in sick? I have an auriga in qt and only did prazi. I won't do copper unless I actually see ich. the auriga and spotband have been great since day one although I got them from a lfs.

 

Sure, or do more of a species tank with like 1-2 tangs and like 5-7 soldierfish/squirrelfish

 

Only one arrived sick. I've treated three with copper when they developed spots within a week. I have never had good luck with Cupramine but have been scared of attempting hyposalinity due to the complexity of administering it.

 

I dig Squirrelfish. I am seriously thinking about taking your recommendation. If I bought seven, then I would have to QT them all at once. Not sure my QT tank could handle the bio load.

 

Maybe try and buy them as 1-2 inch babies, how big is the QT?

Soldierfish are on bluezoo at a size of 1-2 inches, or 2-3 inches, LA doesn't have them or the striped ones in stock ATM.
