Water circulation and aeration along with heating the water will help dissolve the salt faster and keep it more consistent.

do a water change, add a higher salinity in the the new water...try to raise it only a point or two at a time, some creatures are sensitive to salinity increases.

As mentioned above increase the salt level of your tank water very slow as many invertebrates, especially, are highly susceptible to salinity variances.
Also make sure not to add crystal/powder salt to your tank water directly! Make sure to mix the salt water in a separate bucket or container and then add to your tank slowly.

When one of my tanks was low from too much trading stuff out, filling baggies and topping off w/ fresh ro I switched to topping off w/ salt water, mixed at my regular .025. That worked well, bumped the SG back up, but not too fast.

    +1 on above from sharoleb
when ever I have compensated for a low SG ( like getting a refractometer and realising my hydrometer was giving a false high) I just allowed evaporation over a couple of days and topped up with water at the target SG

within 1 week it was back up to where I wanted it, and it never moved more than 0.05 degrees in any 1 day - hence not to fast for the livestock that was in the set up
