Here is an update on Marineland's new HO LED lamp coming this summer: the prototype we saw recently had the same 6,000k white LEDs as the Double Bright, but the production version of the HO LED lamp will be bumped to 10,000k LEDs. Blue lights on the HO will all be 1 watt and will comprise roughly 25% of the total LED count. Furthermore the LED count is a lot higher than double their Double Bright model as first reported. The 18"-24” HO version has 21 total 1 watt LEDs. The 24"-36” has 27 total and the 36"-48” has 42 total 1 watt LEDs.

No. :) But we were all surprised by the affordable Double Brights, so I expect these to be priced competitively as well.

These are looking better and better. I tried out one of the double brights for awhile and it was way to yellow. The 10k whites should give a much better look.

I don't know about the HO model, but on the double bright there was enough room inside the ends to cut a few inches off and put the end caps back on.

Matt-thinking about getting the older version of the Doublebrights for my 150 FOWLR. Will I be happy w/ the results?
