ok, Finally fed up with adding gallons of water everyday! From what I have seen the spectrapure stuff is the best you can buy. I am going to put a resivour under the main tank and want it to be able to pump into the sump next to it. Which one do you guys recomend? Do all of the spectrapure systems only run directly off the RO system, or is what I am looking to do possible? Usually need to replace anywhere between 2.5 and 5 gallons a day (thus why I am sick of lugging water around!)

    Thanks in advance!

I have the Spectrapure UPLC-II level control system myself. I fill a 23 gallon Rubbermaid can in my garage with the RO/DI and float switches. The UPLC controller/peristaltic pump, the same as in the LiterMeter III, is mounted next to the sump in my stand and I ran a 1/4" line from it out to my garage about 35 feet away. I didn't have room under my stand for ATO storage and the UPLC will pull or push many times that distance so was my choice.
For what you want if I understand correctly, their power liquid level controller would work to power a small powerhead to fill the sump. If I am right you want to fill a tank, jug or bucket manually then pump out of it? I might would rethink that if you are evaporating as much as 5 gallons a day as you will still be filling the ATO container frequently. The way I have mine I never have to touch anything.

You have it right. The RO system is too far away and I am not gonna run an RO line along the floor or anything like that. Does the system your recomending to me come with a pump or is it something additional I would have to buy? I don't mind lugging water every now and then, a once a week fill up would be great! Next house though the tank will be closer to the RO system lol Damn vaulted ceilings!

The UPLC comes with the same peristaltic pump as the LiterMeter III. The power liquid level controller does not.
Other advantages to the UPLC are it has an adjustable range from 0.10" to 4.0" in tenth o an inch increments so you can set you drawdown level before it refills, the Power controller is preset. The UPLC also has a back up float switch for an emergency high high shutoff, the power controler does not. The UPLC pump can be adjusted to 10 different flow rates so even if everything were to fail you could set the fill rate slow enough it would still be impossible to overflow the sump. Extra safety precautions.

You could hook the power controller to a small or mini type powerhead or an aqualifter and its still pretty bulletproof and inexpensive. Either way woul work. You might call or email Spectrapure and describe your setup and they could recommend what they think would be best for you.
