i'm going to buy the Spectrapure ProPlus system in the next day or two but i wanted some quick clarifications.

1- if i buy the system from spectrapure, does it come with everything i need to get going (i.e. plug and play)? or do i need to purchase membranes separately?

2- is this capable of being connected directly to my sink faucet or do i need to purchase an additional fitting? i live in an apartment and don't want to tear around under my sink.

    thanks

Ask this on their Sponsors Forum and they can answer directly from the horses mouth so to speak.
Yes it comes with everything. To attach to a kitchen faucet you will need a faucet adapter that screws onto your particular faucet if it does not have standard 3/4" hose threads. It is supplied with a 3/4" hose bib adapter which will screw on most all faucet adapters which can be found at any hardware store. I would unscrew the screen from your faucet and carry it into Lowes of HD to match it up. They are pretty inexpensive but there are so many different faucets today it hard for a RO vendor to supply one without knowing what you have.

im in luck, you were the two guys i was looking for feedback from: Matt, who has recently purchased this exact item and AZ who has written volumes in regards to RODI systems on other threads. thanks you two! i'm assuming that this will thread on then, i had a Pur water filter that screwed on to the same faucet. i'm pretty excited not to have to run to the lab for water changes any more.
