Hello all I really need help with my spectrapure 90gph rodi unit. I just moved into a new apartment and my water pressure is low when running the unit, it is barely in the green at 40. I have been running the unit for about 5 hrs and I have only produced around 10 gallons of good water.

I cant find the manual I know there is something about pulling out a stopper and cutting it to increase the flow. Can anyone give me advice I need to know soon I am driving back to my parents house to pick up my fish and need water asap.

10 gallons of good water after 5+ hours cant be right

Go to the website & download the manual from there. I have the same unit. You may need a booster pump.

    Good Luck.

Buster pump is what you need. Not a big problem.

Go to SpectraPure Water Purification Products and download the manual for your system. Look in the manual for the instructions on how to test the waste ratio and trim the flow restrictor if necessary. You want 4:1 waste ratio, no more and no less thats why they use the capillary tube restrictors you can adjust for your exact conditions.

armison89, you need to do the same, you didn't need to order a new restrictor, you needed to adjust the one you had.

40 psi is about the minimum a RO membrane will function at but it will work. By adjusting the waste ratio you may gain pressure since you could be sending your pressure to the drain instead of it going to the membrane.
