Dingo, What are you currently feeding? I have heard great results from people using Aminos with rotifeast.

This looks like an ETSS which makes me happy!!!

List may include, but is not limited to all foods:
PE mysis (including the awesome juice they are frozen in), Roggers reef food, Roggers complete reef food, Oyster feast, Rods food, KB foods, Nori, Golden Pearls (Every size offered from a few microns up to the largest ones), cyclopeeze, live and/or frozen artemia, sixline wrasse spawn... etc.
And all this made possible by my ETSS :D

But the important list includes PE mysis, Roggers, cyclopeeze, oyster feast, daily sixline wrasse spawn, and golden pearls. I do plan on adding a live rotifer culture to this list in the next few weeks.

It sure is! I can recognize great advice when I get it ;) ETSS 1500xr that's going to be run off the new Reeflo Blowhole 2700 (a little less pressure than an Iwaki 100rlt, but about half the power consumption)

Great feed list. Let me know when you start a thread for your Rotifer culture.

Shmackel: when yours catches food how quickly does it take a mouth to ingest and open back up? Mine seems to ingest in only a few minutes and is already back open again catching more.

And I am curious whether any energy is transferred from the polyps to the sponge?

That is a beautiful specimen. The against the deep red really catches your attention. I hope you're able to keep for a good amount of time...

yeah ours grabs and opens fairly fast also.

No they are 2 different animals and do not share food what-so-ever. You can actually remove the Parazoanthus from the sponge and it will actually grow on whatever you place it on.
