This isn't really an emergency at the moment, but I want your input. I had a bubble tip anemone die a couple months ago, and something started to grow when it died. I think its some type of sponge, but I want to be on the safe side. It's almost pure white, and it's growing upward in a... Hmm, spiraling tentacle-like formation? Cant think of another description. If you need pics, I should be able to post some; however, I'd like to see what you reply first.

Sounds sponge like - but a picture is worth a thousand posts....so I'll wit for that. There are actually a couple different things that come to mind, but sponge is the most likely

By the description I would guess a sponge. I have some type of white sponge (at least thats what I am thinking it is) growing on the underside of a rock in my tank. It kinda feels mushy when you poke it....LOL.

Is there any way to upload a pic without needing a URL? I'm trying to do it directly off my phone

Easier to identify with a pic than just guessing with a description!
