Sponge?

    I noticed some red growth on my live rock. Set up the tank in December. Thought it was some kind of sponge then I saw a huge tentacle coming out of each white mouth. The tenticle must have been a foot long before i was able to get a pic of it. Any idea what this is?

    I don't know much about corals, but maybe a mushroom of some type?

    what did the tentacle look like? i am unaware of sponges that have tentacles, mushrooms will secrete their digestive organs but they look more like small, white, clunked spaghetti than an actual swaying tentacle
