    i have this sponge in my tank a yellow soft spongy ball the size of a soft ball. t moved the rock and it fell off and fell apart some of it is till on the rock will it grow back? i dont have a digital cam to take a picture sorry.

    i dont hav emuch knowledge of sponges sorry but from what ive read they are very capable of regenerating (some stupidly so!!), just dont expose it to air and keep a very careful eye on it coz if it decomposes you will certainly know about it.......

    can you move it to its own quarters to see if it will be ok without putting everything else at risk?

    but please wait till someone with more than one brain cell pipes in with their two pence worth!

    i took the big ball out that was crumbiling away and tossed it i now just have whats atatched to the rock left
