Spots on clownfish

Well I had another saltwater consultant come by this morning and double check the tank, he said the tank is going perfect and is past it's cycle stage and that I'm not doing anything incorrect. I'm still being very cautious and am listening to everyones thought's/suggestions. Thanks everyone!

 

a hospital tank must be set up and running in my opinion to work, i can't just put some salt in it and put my fish in there, it must be cycled just like your main tank, the better the hos ta, the better chance for survival for your fish, that is why i recommended the lfs, they have had alot of ich and can deal with it better then most if they don't want alot of losses, did your expert say why you are reading .50 ammonia? there is really no blame for the ich, it has happened to me in a 2 year old tank, it will everybody at some point in time, the people here on this wonderful forum hate to see live stock die, there not blaming you, we are just trying to help save your fish please update us on there condition good or bad.

 

just so you know, anemones when unhappy will display a large open mouth, though this is normal now and again (expel waste and or change water) when you see your anemones constantly deflated and with open mouths something is wrong. another good indicator is their grip on the rock they are on, the stronger the better. if you ever see a deflated anemone swaying on your sand bed take it out as its probably dying. a dying anemone can severely pollute your system.
