Spots on my Naso

    in my old tank, yes. I tried to keep them on two seperate occations. Both times both Hippo's got it really bad. I thought maybe since my other fish were doing well I'd try a Naso in this tank. Even bought one that is a little bigger thinking maybe it would be more hardy. He still looks great other then some spots. Below are my tank parameters.

    Salinity 1.222
    PH -8.3
    Temp 78-79
    Ammonia - 0
    Nitrite - 0
    Nitrates - 0-5
    Calcium -480

    My six line seems to be trying to get parisites off of him at times.. Is that normal? The Naso doesn't mind he just chills out and lets little dude do his thing...

    I tried raising my temp with my other tank. They say it speeds up the live cycle of the Ick. Only caution I would throw out there is that you have to watch your corals. I lost a xenia becuase I let it creap up too high.

    My hippo has it right now.. about 3rd week full blown spots.
    He is still eating , but he stays in the rocks more now.

    Sorry to hear that! Did you try garlic? Have his eyes turned cloudy yet? With the two I had this is when they started to go down hill.

    I have some garlic.. his eyes are still clear.
