A couple days ago I noticed my Yellow Tang had several white spots on him. It doesn't look like something attached to his skin on the outside. Don't really look like bumps. I attached a couple pictures.

This is the third day I noticed them and it hasn't gotten any better. I haven't noticed a change in his behavior...he still eats plenty. I did a water change a couple days ago and scrubbed some of my rocks down that had a little GHA. I noticed the spots the day after the water change so I figured he may have just been stressed. But after 3 days I feel like it might be more.

    Any ideas?

ICH, Either your tank water needs to be cleaned and changed or stressed. But dont worry they always do that and it gets healed in couple of days when he finds a place to stay in your tank and gets to know your tank.

Maybe I need to make my post clearer. I have had the Tang for over a year. I have only noticed spots on his once before this, and it was just one on his fin about 2 months ago. I wasn't thinking ICH because it didn't look like bumps and there is nothing on his fins. I could be wrong though.

    Did some water tests.

well if its not ick or ich, it could be night camo, my clown changes colors at night, he turns whitish. do you notice if this happens right after you turn the lights on?

His color does change when the lights are off or coming on. But this is something different I think. He has been this way for the last 3 days, all day.

Guess I'm just gonna keep on feeding him and keeping everyone healthy. I soak food in garlic and Elos extra vitamin so hopefully that will continue to help.

Leopracy. that does not look like Crypt. too large of lesions. and you say it is smooth and does not protrude for the fish's body? I have NEVER seen that type of ailment before. very interesting. I guess teh fish is eating well. what else is in the tank? possibly a stray voltage issue? diet?

Feed with garlic supplement or add garlic to your water of it's ich the garlic gets into there system and the parodies don't like it they fall off and won't want to reattach also make sure to Fred seaweed it helps boost the amine system
