    Hi all
    Right, my tank is the rena aqualife 200, the filter external filstar xp2, i have the spray bar going along the back but it starts getting covered with water 2 inches from the top is this ok i want to fill it right up not alot of pressure should i face the holes up towards the surface???

    It should not be a problem to submerge the bar and if you would like surface agitation this will benifit with gas exchange

    You will find out a spray bar is way over rated and they are a PINTA to deal with they seldon run long with removeing it and a acid soak and then poke out the little holes They creat to much bubble busting splash and thats a mess. Good luck with it.

    that should be fine, In my 40gal hex the spray bar is completely under water, but it is fine.

    I've had my spray bar for over 2 yrs and never had the need to clean it or get clogged.

    i noticed the spray bar in 1 of my tanks clogged up with gunk so i took the spray bar off and aimed the outlet in the desired direction
