    Hi,

I was messing around with my tank a little bit tonight by removing the lid and adding a new filter. I barely did anything and my Springer's Damsel totally freaked out. He turned black and for the past couple hours he's been hiding and panting...it's stressing me out!

But my main concern is that if he gets this stressed out from me removing the lid, what is going to happen to him when I actually clean the tank? Are there some fish that freak out more than others? My oscellaris clown is not bothered by anything. He enjoys me being around the tank and was swimming around "playing" while I was removing the lid, etc. Is there anything I can do to help minimize the damsel's stress during cleanings, maintenance, etc.?

    thanks!
