    At first I never saw myself as a SPS kinda-guy but I went to the LFS and saw a nice little orange montipora frag and there was nothing else there that looked cool so i was like what the heck ill give it a try i have leds so wish me luck. 8)

    Any tips on keeping it healthy I bought it because I heard its good if it has a white rim right now I have it in the higher half of the tank with moderate to high flow

    Right now regular water changes should take care of it. You will want to monitor your Ca, Mg and alk to keep them in line for SPS coral.

    LOL, I walked into my LFS this weekend looking for a few new softies or LPS...ended up with a green polyp birdnest. I know exactly what you mean!;D

    I have LEDs too. (2x Aqua Illumination Sol-Blue) I keep a large variety of SPS and everything is growing, colorful and happy. Best wishes!! You will be hooked forever!

    Another one takes the bait, that wont be your last, I'm willing to bet. Just give it good flow, strong light, stable parameters, and make sure your big 3 (alk, cla, and mag) are all where they should be. Good look, take some pictures!

    I hope to maintain it by keeping water changes at one gallon per week its in my 10 gallon which is coming along well
