How many times do you dip in coral rx? I have read to redip in 3 days, to kill hatched eggs, is this the standard? Would this be the last dip? How many are needed? Your opinions are greatly anticipated!! Good reefing to ya!

I've done dips every other day for 2-3 times.

3 to 4 dips to make sure you get all larvae.

    2nd Dip

Just did 2nd dip of acro corals, looked like some leach type critters real small, and a worm looked like a bristle but really to small to tell. Is every 3 days to long in between or is that ok? After that one I don't want to miss any other bad pests, so I want to dip one more time but at correct interval. Does anyone know the gestation period (I think that's right?) of eggs and larvae? Thanks

3 Days isn't too long, it maybe too short, some eggs take 5 days.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
If you want to prevent Red Bugs, you should do a 20 minute dip in Interceptor prior to introduction to the display. Not doing so has been my mistake, Red Bugs are very, very common. Very hard to initially see but if you know what to look for, you can see them in macro shots, and you may notice them just by the appearance of coral.

Properly ID'ing any pest prior to introduction is just as important as the dip, ask anyone that has experienced Montipora eating nudibranchs, or Acropora eating flatworms.

I dip all my new corals in TM Pro Coral Cure at least 3 times over the course of a week and keeping the coral in my quarantine tank during the whole process. Understandably I get a bit paranoid about introducing things like flatworms into my display tanks. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure…
