    That fixture wont put out the kind of PAR you want for a SPS tank.

    If you want LED, you could do a DIY fixture for a good price or two PAR 30 bulbs.

    I have heard they don't work well and they are extremely white as well. I would go with one of the chinese imports with bridgelux led's before going with one of these, even more so with sps.

    DIY would be your best bet for SPS. But why such a small tank? Even a 20 gallon would be much easier to take care of. 10 gallons with SPS is very expensive for almost zero room for frags.

    I have to and as they are a little whiter, they are really bright!!!!!!!!! since its a 10g and pretty shallow anyway it would probably work for you.
