Hey everybody (Hi Dr. nick) Ha, anyone remember that?

Anyways, I picked up a few sps at a frag swap in Cleveland this weekend. Really awesome set up, everyone got a free 20$ DR. foster and Smith gift cert in a grab bag. Really good prices, and all the vendors were trying to make deals. Except for one who thought he could over charge everyone....I didn't see him sell much. While I was there I picked up some really colorful SPS from a few different vendors but I was too hungover to ask questions. So my question is....

Are these frags going to outgrow the frag plug/disc? Right now they are mounted to the plug/disc and just sitting on my rock work. Will they eventually need to be cut off and secured? Will they be ok just the way they are?

    Thanks

    They can encrust the rockwork.

They will encrust over and encrust over the rockwork, I hear birdnests is one of the few sps that does not encrust well though and needs to be attached securely. I am a big fan of placing the coral for a couple weeks to allow it to acclimate and make sure it adjsut to my system, and them I pry it off the fragplug if it hasnt encrusted much to glue to the rockwork
