SPS ID?? Can't find what it is.

    I just have no clue what this beautiful Acro is! I had traded this guy about 5 days ago and I just can't find this coral anywhere on the web for an ID. Anyone know what it is? The guy who had it before me didn't know what it was either. It's definately happy and healthy though! :D

    Depends on where it came from, it might not have a name.

    It's gonna need to get bigger for an ID with certainty, but at this point it's shaping up as Acropora loripes.

    No, it's definitely a smooth-skin acro. I'm pretty certain on loripes, but can't be absolutely certain at this tiny frag size. :)

    Ok, thanks guys! At least now I have a starting point :p I'll start researching Loripes and go from there.

    It is so small it could be granulosa, valida, appressa, nana, or many more just as well.

    sort of looks like a frogskin.. coloration is slightly different though. great looking frag.

    Yea, it resembles all that's mentioned here. I think all I can do is wait for it to grow out more lol. I've had it for 5 days so far and I was scared of it losing it's georgious color, but so far under my 4 T5's and led strips it's staying just as beautiful!!
