    Umm, no, not really :)
    Are the polyps really packed in ridges, bogy shape looks like a milli, but can't tell from the pic.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    It could be anything, from a RP to a Millepora. It needs to develop. I can rule out a lot of acropora and other sps, but exact or pretty close ID would be really hard right now at that size and coloration.

    +1 on millepora... the ridges and growth pattern resembles one. I agree it's still difficult to positively ID from this pic, but it def doesn't look like a birdsnest to me.

    It looks like it has ruffles on it that the polyps come out of yes. So will it just grow new branches? I'm new to the sps thing all I have that is close is a yellow scroll.

    i agree with Corailline looks a little too small to tell but i have had some turn out to be completely different then what i thought they were, just wait till they age

    This is my birsnest that recently fell into the frogspawn :( so I know its not a birds nest.
