Sps in a biocube

    I wouldn't get a birdsnest as a first SPS or in arelatively new tank. Their tight branching pattern makes them vulnerable to become a "nutrient sink" where detritus will accumulate and algae will grow. Try a Poci first.

    I tried it in mine and only lived but never thrived. Only till the day I got t5 that the Monti started to grow. I had it right at the top directly under the lights.

    Yep biocube 29! Now a sps dominated 29. I made a few upgrades to the system now but my sig gives u an idea of what I started the cube with. I got a 6bulb fixture by current USA called a nova extreme pro. It was the only fixture I could find at the same width of the tank. Not the best light and if I had the knowledge I have now then I wouldn't have got that fixture.
