    I want to change to all vho. I currently have 175 sb and 236 vho at 95w. I want to add 2 more vho and take the 175 out. What do u think of that for sps

    I've never had good sps results with just vho. They take up too much room for the light they put out. Why not put in T5s?

    +1 on the above..I would reccomend T5HO. You get better color out of them anyway and you have TONS of color choices.

    I'm sure I'm speaking for all MH guys out there when I say MH for SPS gives you great results.
    However, T5HO is also great for SPS, plus you will have lots of flexibility when it comes to colours of bulbs.
    Target 3-4watts per gallon although this depends on the height of you tank.
