Is my tank finally ready for sps after months of investments (not now, still gotta wait till my tank cycles and then some)?

Tank specs in sig, please read. As always, its up to date.

As for my personal background, i never ever had any problems keeping parameters stable including:

calcium, mag, iodine, ph, salinity, nitrate, nitrite, alk, ext.

Heres some more specific questions/specs of the tank. I have a halide, i have actinics, i have moon lights, i have a 1400gph turnover in my tank. Could my tank be a good host for sps? is 1400x enough? My return is 780 gph but with head loss is probably 600 and i have 2 koralia 1 powerheads. Enough? What other factors should i be worried about?

nope still cycling, im probably going to wait till coralline cause its a great indicator of steady alk and calcium and not to mention the good age indicator...

new coralline is an indicator to start with a frag of easy sps to see how it does

You have 1400gph running through a 22g tank? That's roughly 60x turnover rate, thats a lot of flow!! Well if your return really puts out nearly 800gph, that is. Anywho...I think you should be ok! Keep up with your dosing and everything.

Montipora's (specifically caps) are nice beginner SPS corals!!

Great news, cause i absolutely love monits, i think they are beautiful and have wanted to house forever but never had the correct lights until now :cheesy:

Is this a bad thing? And the 1400 gph is is factoring in head loss. Without head loss, its 1600gph

well I have about 40x turnover rate and everything seems fine in my tank...If you're going strictly SPS then I would shoot for 50x. Which would be 1100gph for your tank. Every tank is different though!! Try and see what works best for you!!
