    At some point my SPS frag came unglued and fell onto a Ricordea. Not sure how long it stayed there but it managed to kill some of. Look at the circled area, white lights are out so color is a little hard to see.

    SPS will lose the battle with other types of coral every time. You can leave the ends as they are or remove them.

    I need to get it off of that plug so I can secure it better but its started to encrust over the plug

    I would take a dremel to it and then anchor it to a rock or something. But I dunno...
