Does anyone have squid? It seems like a cool pet....I never see anyone on here with them. I wonder if they hard to take care of or reef safe.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Squids are pretty hard to care for. You used to be able to buy the eggs on line. On the forums I have seen 2 or 3 people have a decent amount of success.

Nautilus are very cool but should not be offered for sale IMO, they belong in the ocean where they have a chance of survival.

If you are interested in Cephlapods this forum is the place to research.

Thank you, I doubt I will get any now because I want to get my reef in order first.

yes, unfortunately, squid are very difficult to keep....when I first decided to get back into the hobby more intensely, I considered sea horses and cuttlefish...I especially liked cuttlefish but quickly found out that success in the home aquarium was limited :(

Maybe one day they will design a squid tank :) I hear they are doing a lot of cool jellyfish tanks now.
