    The squidworm is the latest eerie creature pulled from the deep recently. The eyeless, free-swimming squidworm (Teuthidodrilus samae) has 10 squid-like limbs on its head for touch and smell and it feeds on 'marine snow' -- detritus that rains down from the upper layers of the ocean, such as sinking plankton, "fecal material, dead animals, cast off mucus," Osborn said. "Not the most appealing sounding food." Yeah, unless your an eyeless worm.

    I saw this guy the other day on net. He is super cool IMO. Weird little things he has coming off his face though. He really looks like he came from outer space.

    Agreed. Agreed. I added the bit about being free-swimming which makes him more creepy in my book.
