Hi everyone, I've been in the hobby for a a year and a half starting with a Solana. I have the 4 healthy fish that I got during the first few months, a large and active fire shrimp, a very large RBTA, a couple clams, some softies and some LPS. That tank is going well and I now also have a 15g plus a 10g in my office.

Initially I went high tech adding to my Solana all sorts of things like an upgraded skimmer, an ATO, a gfo reactor, a controller, an MP10, chaeto. None of these things bad but now I think there's a benefit to waiting and observing. You learn by making a change to address a need rather than just piling on. While my Solana has a lot of equipment on it I have taken a few steps back at least in the way I think about things. Also my other two tanks are pretty bare bones with just ATOs and external filters.

I've popped in here from time to time to read and found a lot of good info so I decided it was time to join.

You've gotten the attitude of a real reefer. :) New-comers of the hobby tend to want to do things quickly. which you did in the beginning, but that's changed. Although I have to say, the equipment you picked were all god choices. :) Like the 3reef motto says, it's best to "Go slow, let it grow."

As you may have noticed, 3reefers love to share pictures of their aquariums. Would you care to toss up a few for all to see? ::)

    Welcome!

I've never seen a "health fish" before but it sounds pretty interesting. :p

Thanks for all the warm responses. Is there a place to post videos as well?

Most people upload to Youtube and use the embed code to embed the video into a post. But I think photobucket and Flickr have the same feature as well.
